Imani Coleman (She/Her) graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Certificate in Social Justice. She is passionate about advocacy and law with a special interest in education equity. This event and the work with Dr. Colbern's research relating to asylum excites her because it provides the opportunity to learn about how education equity affects asylum seekers and immigrants, as well as new ways to learn about being an impactful advocate in different spaces and across issues. She is passionate about actively working with impacted communities and stakeholders. She wants to be an example of not just talking the talk, but walking the walk.
