Aayah Benedaoriginally from San Germán, Puerto Rico, has called Colorado Springs, Colorado, her home since 2013. Since 2008, she has served as a Program Director for The Mentor Network (REM) and Dungarvin, where her primary focus lies in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals facing developmental disabilities and dual diagnoses (IDD/MI). Aayah's professional journey is deeply rooted in her commitment to a person-centered and trauma-informed approach to work with homeless youth, refugees, and stateless individuals. Aayah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
